Founded in 2007 after a local event was coming to town which they thought they should offer their place for people to stay. The company now offers places in over 16,000 cities in 186 countries and has even had an igloo rented out. The marketplace for property has an iPhone application with over 160,000 downloads since November 2010. This company has raised nearly $120 million after recently announcing their latest $112m series B funding.
